Christmas/Halloween

Do these two celebrations overlap at all?

I want to go to DLRP for the Haloween celebrations but the wife wants to go for the Christmas one, I was wondering if there was a week for example where it was the end of Halloween and the beginning of Christmas so that we could to the two in one (budget won't stretch to two holidays this year )

I don't think they overlap due to the fireworks season happening between the 2. I may be wrong though.

No, they don't overlap.

Halloween season starts on 4th October, and runs to 2nd November.
Christmas season starts around the 8th November, and runs to the 5th or 6th January.

if you have a week or longer there you can see both.
we did last year.
even if you miss the actual christmas stuff they put the tree up a few days earlier.
and the fireworks are great!

Thanks. So we'd need to go from the 1st November to the 9th November. I'll bear that in mind.

You might want to check the official information regarding on what date the Christmas season actually starts - I'm only going on last years dates, although the Halloween ones are this years dates. Also, if its like last year, you didn't get to see everything every day until the start of December (in November for example, the Fantillusion parade was only on at weekends).

We want to get AP's this year in October/November and do all the seasons in one year, as our 2nd child is coming in Feb 09 and we want to do it all once while we still have the money
