OK, i need advice...my 16 year old daughter wants a new digital camera for christmas(she owns a canon a410-problem is the lcd is tiny AND there is no sound for movies)...NOW, my problem is all she is specifying really is colour, she wants a pink one :rotfl: and one that has sound for movies..for me, i have a canon S5(which i love  ) so trying to find her a camera based on colour is driving me crazy...what i am wondering is if anyone has any idea about any of these 4 camera i am looking into...they are all pink, all have sound with movies, and all have large lcds...what i am wondering of course is about picture, build, and movie quality and i cant find out too much information about these...
Sony W55
Fuji Z10
Casio Ex277
Kodak M753
If anyone can point me in the right direction, i would really appreciate it...Thanks so much for any and all help

Just looking at the makers of these cameras, I would probably look further into the Fuji. They generally make a good camera.

If it were me, I would buy her a S5 IS and a can of pink spray paint!

LOL, i agree....i wish, my i guess i should have mentioned size is also one of her requests, she wants small, actually tiny...i think i am down to the fuji or the sony..from what i can find so far, the sony is reviewed higher by users..actually, i can find way more info about the sony...thanks for your reply, i really appreciate it...

No problem. I don't think you will find much wrong with a Sony either. The only thing to keep in mind is that the Sony may have a funky memory card. I think it is the Sony that has their own proprietary memory. Not SD or CF or any of the "normal" types.

Actually, i had a sony H5 before my canon S5, so i have 1 GB pro duo she could have...i like that the fuji can take either and sd or xd(both i would have to buy a bigger card for her, her card is only a 512 i think)....the other thing about the fuji that is great(being a teenager) is that the zoom lens doesnt extend out, one less thing she could hurt....tough decision when what matters to her is colour and what matters to me is qaulity...teenagers :lmao:
thanks again

If it were me, I would be wanting to know if she wanted a camera or a toy... sorry if that is harsh, but one shouldn't be worried about what color the camera, but rather what purpose it serves.

I understand what you are saying - but when it comes to teenaged girls they don't care as much about the quality of the camera. They care about how cool it is. :sad2:

My 14 yr old DD has a pink poloroid from wal-mart. I think it was about 99.00. It has the movie mode with sound. The quality is so-so - but she mostly uses it to take photos of herself and her friends for myspace and to share with each other.

She also said that a lot of her friends have the camera and they all "love it and think it is cool". :confused3
