christmas filming

anyone know when they are going to film the christmas day parade at magic kingdom?

i think last year is was like around first two weeks/weekends in decemeber. it was neat watching and being in crowd as spectators.

It's almost always the first weekend of December. It will most likely be Dec. 3 and 4.

Ugh, don't remind me! We were there last year, and unfortunately will be there again next month! But, I can't pass up our CRT ps for 8:10 on Dec. 4th! And, no, we're not park hoppers!

They have started shooting other scenes for the parade show. We saw them in AK yesterday on Tri.Top Spin with Bear from the Big Blue House. We all got to watch. We rode just in front of the camera crew with him while they taped him. We also were in the 'crowd scene'! It was cool watching and listening to him!

When we were at the Mk on Oct. 27th we saw a crew to the left of the castle filming a man speaking spanish. There were christmas tress decorated behind him, and he had to "look" like it was cooler thenit was! Apparently they were filming a commercail. It was funny to watch because he was in a sweater and long pants, sweating his you know what off , and we were walking around with shorts/ tanktops/ and mister bottles! They had to keep dabbing his head with a tissue to remove his perspiration! We had no idea what was being said, but he kept messing up his lines!

We were there last year for the filming of the parade, and it was on the 3rd-4th of Dec. and yet again we will be there too.

It is scheduled for December 3 and 4 with December 5 as a back up day in case of delays or the need to re-shoot anything.

LibertyBelle... We have a CRT ps for 8:10 on the 4th. Will we be able to get there in time, since they usually don't open the gates until 8:00?

Disneyfan551 -- We had a PS last year (first seating at 8) and they held us. But they were holding everyone, so CRT was just waiting for us. No problems. We were the first one's there.
