Christmas Events outside the Parks?

Eleven months until Christmas! I'm looking for some events or activities to do outside the theme parks on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Could be at a resort, Disney Springs, or even offsite. Any suggestions? Any restaurants with a special menu for the holiday? Any holiday activities you enjoyed outside the parks?

Hotel hop. The resorts are decked out and GF, BW, BC should not be missed. Also, think about a horse wagon (not a carriage) ride in the evening. The campers decorate their sites to over the top levels.

There are religious services at the Contemporary on Christmas morning. I believe it is normally an early Catholic Mass, a Protestant service, then a later Mass. We like to go swimming after Mass and lunch on Christmas Day and then to one of the shows at night.

Definitely looking forward to resort hopping. We are also thinking about doing the Pirate Pals dessert party and Hoop de Doo review I heard the Disney Springs is fun too.
