Christmas Events at Universal

I want to take my kids to Universal when we stay at Disney during Christmas time, but we can't decide on the week.

When does Universal start having Christmas events? We are thinking of going early Nov. or at the end of Nov. running into Dec.

Universal doesn't start its Christmas stuff till beginning of December

Official start of Christmas events are first Saturday of December.

There will be decorations up before that but no parades, Grinchmas, or concerts.
