So we are going to 4 people at Disney World thru Christmas. 2 people will not have park passes so we will need a resort or Springs restaurant. Do I need to be on the reservation site from Disney at 6am 60 days before?
I have been looking on Open Table as well and this early in the game the only options are Raglin Road and STK that are taking reservations now. Havent heard great things about STK simply due to noise. Raglin Road could be fun for Christmas Eve. Would really like to do Jiko or Il Mulino but I’m thinking those will be tough
Any tips on how to secure a Christmas Eve dining reservation?

We're also staying during Christmas week and I'm leaning towards Jiko or maybe Sanaa as a backup. AKL is lovely during the holidays.

I know all the tricks and usually end up with an ADR wherever I choose, however, Jiko is the exception for us. I found, in my experience, it's the hardest ADR to get.

Care to share any tips and tricks? Only one I know is be on early 60 days in advance or use Open Table

Are there any restaurants that do anything special for Christmas Eve (either in parks or nearby resorts)? It’s a big night in my husband’s family and he’s indulging me by spending the holiday at WDW, so I’d like to find something special that feels like a holiday dinner.

In my recollection, there are typically only special Christmas day menus that are offered in various restaurants resort-wide, but all of the resorts and restaurants will be decorated beautifully for the holiday. What would your husband consider special - perhaps a signature meal or a dinner show? Hoop Dee Doo Revue always does a special Christmas overlay (Christmas songs sprinkled into the show). When we go over the holidays, I always try to book Hoop Dee Doo Revue followed by a holiday sleigh ride at Ft. W (reservations needed) - I don't know if that would fit the bill for your family? If you are looking for something more elegant, consider a signature restaurant. If you are looking for something more American-traditional, consider Whispering Canyon at WL (the resort is decorated beautifully for the holidays) or Liberty Tree Tavern in MK.
