Christmas Dinner Offsite

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advise on what restaurant might have a good Christmas dinner. We're staying onsite, but we'll have the TIW card and it's blacked out on 12/24 & 12/25. We're eating at Old Towne Ale House for their lobster special on 12/24 so I'm looking for something else for 12/25. Any ideas?

I would 2nd The Gaylord Palms. for Christmas Dinner.

( The Gaylord Palms is the Huge Conference Center that looks like an upside down Funnel and just off the Osceola Parkway )

They only do a Carvery Christmas Buffet dinner and starts at about 10am

Well worth it .... but you need to book early and get your seating time .

The Columbia in Celebration is wonderful! I highly recommend it! And as a bonus it "snows" downtown Celebration every night

Ohhhh! This is a GREAT idea. We ate at the original Columbia in Tampa and it was great.

Are any offsite places open on Christmas Day? I know around here NOTHING is open on Christmas. I know resorts will be open, but not sure about regular off-site restaurants.

Just about everything is open on Christmas day around WDW. BUT they often close early. A couple of years ago we were staying offsite in a house and we went back to nap on Christmas afternoon. I woke up and my family kept snoozing. I went out to get something for us to cook at about 8-9 since it was clear my family was not going to get up to go out. Most of the restaurants were closed at the time, as were all the grocery stores. I ended up foraging at the Walgreen's and I WAS NOT ALONE. The place was jam packed . We had a lovely Christmas dinner of pasta, marinara, frozen meatballs and garlic bread with mozzarella cheese because they didn't have any parm. We're not Christian so it wasn't a disappointment but I still smile when I go into that Walgreens and remember milling around looking for food with dozens of other people on Christmas day.
