Hello all you Wonderful Food People,
Caropooh & I are going to do something different this year and take the DD's to WDW during XMAS (we know, BIG crowds). We need some help with XMAS Dinner. Does anybody know if there are "Traditional Christmas" Dinner menus and where they are at? Where would (are) you go for Christmas Dinner? We will be staying at the CBR and have the Deluxe Dining Plan.

TIA

Several of the restaurants had traditional Christmas food for Dec 25th.
I believe Whispering Canyon changed the menu that night, Chef Mickey, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May and Boma had "holiday items" added to the buffet.

We had our Christmas dinner at Spoodles and it was their usual menu - nothing Christmassy.

Don't know which ones offer traditional Christmas fair, but you should check out allearsnet. I'm pretty sure they have posted past holiday menus.

Wherever you decide, I would suggest going for a resort restaurant. Christmas is SUCH a busy time in the parks, they often stop letting people in after a certain time (if it reaches quota) and you are risking possibly not getting to use your ADR. If the park reaches quota, they will not allow more people in, regardless of if they have an ADR at a park restaurant, until the crowd decreases.

Just something to keep in mind...:)

Epcot is actually fine on Christmas day in our limited (2 times) experience. Both time we did the Candlelight Processional package with dinner at Rose and Crown which served prime at the time. That's our tradition on Christmas so the kids were happy with that. The Candlelight Processional is so beautiful and a perfect way to end Christmas Day but it's offered every night from Thanksgiving to 12/30. Don't miss it! My family would probably pick Tutto Italia for dinner there these days. Certainly wouldn't be our traditional fare but would be a great meal.

I would avoid MK that day. Gridlock.

I agree with checking Allears. But what is your tradition...turkey, beef, goose?

The resort restaurants are a great suggestion, too.

Thr Rose and Crown had a traditional Christmas Day Dinner on the 25'th of Dec during one of our visits after the CP, but our favorite place to dine on Christmas day is the Whispering Canyon Cafe where you will get turkey with all the trimmings and either baked ham or the one year it was baked salmon. It was just a beautiful spot to spend your Christmas dinner overlooking the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge

I too am interested since we will be spending our first Christmas :santa: Day in DW. I would love to find a place that would be serving turkey dinner since that would be our traditional meal. We will be at BWV and would love to find something nearby that fits.
