Christmas Dinner at Captain's Grille

I am kind of disappointed now because after reading another thread I realized that Captain's Grille offered a "special" Christmas dinner. I have been planning a Christmas vacation for my family for a while and made a reservation for Captain's Grille many months ago hoping to try their regular menu. We are not huge fans of a tradition holiday meal, so some may be disappointed in the food if that is all there is to offer. Is it a menu or a buffet? Does anyone have any information on what they serve Christmas day? Thanks in advance!

We were there on Thanksgiving evening. I too wanted to try the regular menu but all they had was the buffet for Thanksgiving. Which wasn't worth the holiday menu price. Sorry but I wasn't impressed but may try it again at a non-holiday time.

We had reservations for dinner on THanksgiving here and when we arrived we were told it was a buffet so we left. We wanted the regular menu. I was very disappointed since I really wanted crab cakes. We were able to get into Capt Jack's at Downtown Disney and the foold was good. Yes - I got my crab cake.

I would make an alternative dinner reservation just incase Captain's Grille doesn't turn out to be everything you hoped for. At least then, youd have a back up plan.
