We are going to be at BCV for the upcoming Christmas holiday. Does anyone have any good ideas for dining on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Is there anything special that goes on those two days? Thanks!

Do you want to dine in athe parks or on poroerty? If parks- which one in aprticular??

Whatever you decide- you should be sure to get it at the 180 day mark or you'll have a heck of a time trying to get anyplace to eat!

We only eat at the parks or resorts. I have my call in day marked on the calendar!! But, I was just trying to figure out which restaurants may be doing something special for the holiday.

We did Liberty Tree at MK and it was very good and festive. :thumbsup2

We ate breakfast in Cinderella's Castle Christmas morning 2007. It was special to us, but nothing out of the regular breakfast fare. We also had dinner at Chef Mickey's Christmas night.

My favorite is the WCC at the WL. It serves the traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. It is also nice to arrive a bit early and soak up the lodge decorarions and atmosphere

Our favorite Christmas meal is at the Biergarten in Epcot. Good food (my husband lived in German for about 7 years and says it's pretty authentic) and fun, lively atmosphere. Our son is 4 now and he still loves it.

I caution you on making adrs for lunch/dinner at MK.If they reach a phase 4 closing due to capacity , you will not be allowed in regardless of whether or not you have an adr.So unless you are planning to spend the whole day in the MK you may want to rethink the MK.

We ate at Citrico's, last Chritmas holiday, and loved it! Between Chrismas Day and NYD we ate at WCC, LTT, Marakesh, Ohana's, Boma's, and the Flying Fish. We also ate ate CP for breakfast several times. One thing is for sure, at the 180+10 day mark, you need to have made all of your dining decisions, and are then calling to make those ADR's. Times and dates run out very fast.

I have a question for tgropp.

You said that WCC served a traditional Dinner on Xmas:santa: day. Is an entirely different menu for that day only? We have eaten there in the past and I don't recall turkey dinner which would be our style of traditional dinner. We would love to find such a meal without having to venture into a park. We will be staying at BWV. Thanks for your help.

I love Crystal Palace in MK ...the inside of this restaurant is so beautiful........

we ate at the beach club's clam bake buffet on christmas eve...everyone found something, the servers were in a great mood and teh food was really good!! for christmas night, i wanted something the kids would never forget, so we went to the spirit of aloha dinner at the poly. the resort was beautiful to walk in/around, and it was a great way to relax for 2 hours and enjoy dinner and a nice show, no rushing, no stress. i know it's 2 table credits if on the ddp, but for our group of 6 (ages from 6-31) we all completly loved it!! as a tip, if the kids are picky eaters, the food is a little spicy, ask for a kids pack for them.

Yes, it is a different meal only served on Chritmas Day and it is still served in a skillet, family style. They always have turkey with dressing and the trimmings and they also have a side meat. The one year it was ham (delicious) and the next time it was salmon, which was also great.

We have been to wdw for xmas week the last four years. we have made a point of not going to any park on xmas day...too crazy. 2005, we had breakfast (late 10:30am) at BOMA and then went to DTD for a movie and had xmas dinner at Artist Point in WL, it was beautiful and put you in the xmas spirit. 2006 we went to CP for xmas eve with dinner in Japan, then xmas day had breakfast at 1900PF(great food and atmosphere) and shopped at DTD and then very late dinner at CG (9:15pm) but got there early enought to see Wishes!-great food and wonderful view of MK. Last year we went back to !1900PF for breakfast, then went to ICE! at Gaylord Palms Hotel and dinner at Boma. Great all 3 times and didn't miss the craziness of the parts for the holiday. We miss xmas this year, but wil be doing NYE and day(we will be at epcot or DHS for NYE).

I'd spend the day listening to the storytellers in WS, then book the Candlelight Processional Package for Christmas Eve. It will be packed, but worth it. Nothing says Christmas like the CP. Les Chefs de France is our CP tradition, but you could choose any of the Epcot restaurants. I think I read that Biergarten has a special holiday show at that time, but I don't have any firsthand knowledge. Hopefully, someone will verify it, if it's true.

For Christmas morning, I'd order room service to enjoy while opening gifts. Room service is a special treat for most people. It also gives you more time to enjoy your family Christmas, w/o rushing out the door.

My Christmas dinner suggestion would depend on your party's demographic. I would avoid park restaurants, unless you plan to spend the entire day there.

We will be staying at BWV during Xmas Eve and Xmas Day. Thank you all for the great ideas. We are going to try and book CP for Xmas Eve for sure. Hoping to get Lecellier to go along with it. We are thinking that we may book Spoodles??? for a late breakfast on Xmas morning since the boys really want to rent boats in the afternoon. We aren't sure yet about dinner on that day. Listening and trying to decide. We will plan on staying away from the parks for sure.

Thanks Again to everyone who takes the time to help out.

I have a quick question about WCC on Christmas Day. Do they only serve the special dinner skillet or can you still order off the regular menu?
