Christmas Desserts (inspired by Christmas Dinner Menu)

Just wondering what kind of fabulous desserts everyone is making for Christmas dinner. I'm looking for new ideas instead of the same ole thing. We'll have fig cookies definately, but I don't know what else, thought about a peanut butter cheesecake.

I buying a vareity cake from Wal-Mart for dessert for Christmas.

Mine are not very exciting but I am making sugar Christmas cookies, pecan pie and coconut cream pie.

Pecan pie and chocolate cheesecake....and there is always cookies and candy around....way too much!!

I only do this once a year.

Put a brownie on a plate. Smear on some hot fudge. Add a scoop of peppermint stick ice cream, followed by more hot fudge and some whipped cream. That says Christmas to me.

Chocolate dump cake.

You "dump" cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, coconut, choc chips and nuts in the bottom of a pan. Then pour dry chocolate cake mix on top. Dot with butter and bake according to cake mix directions. Cool and top with whipped cream. Soooo good.

I will also make a fresh apple cake and some sort of cheesecake. Gotta get some ideas pretty quick on that one. Any suggestions?

In the morning I will make a apricot cheese Danish shaped like a candy cane which we will have with made from scratch hot cocoa

Tuesday I will diet!
