Christmas Decorations

I am taking my family to Disney from January 10-17, 2015. When does Disney take down the Christmas decorations as I am hoping that they will still be up when we get there.

I think they come down by then, but I could be wrong.

The park decorations usually come down the first weekend in January. Some of the resort decor is removed before that weekend. The lights on the Castle remain because of the Marathon so there is a slight chance you may see the Castle lights.

We were there one year Jan 1-7 and some things were starting to come down toward the end of that week. We have also been the 2nd full week of January (maybe arriving about 12) and there was nothing left up by then. I would expect little to none to be left up. sorry. We love doing December trips with all the Christmas stuff, but we really did not enjoy that first week of January as much as Christmas was over, we were tired of the Christmas music, and it really was more of a leftover vs excitement feel to the park.
