Christmas Decorations

When are the Christmas decorations up in the parks and resorts? We're planning an early December trip but started to wonder if the parks and resorts are decorated in November. Thanks.

It takes a rather long time to get "everything" decorated, but by Thanksgiving most of the Christmas decor in the parks (and much of the resorts) is up and looking festive for the holidays.

The first couple of weeks in December is a great time to enjoy the Christmas decorations and shows without the HORDES of folks that are there later in the month.

We had been wondering, as the week before Thanksgiving is also an option for our trip. We've been lots of times but never when it's been decorated for Christmas so I wouldn't want to miss the Christmas decorations. Thanks for the info.

They start decorating very early. We were there for the last week of Oct, beginning of November (went to the Halloween party) and on our last day, maybe Nov 4, they were putting up the Christmas decorations at our resort (Beach Club).

They are usually done before Thanksgiving. This year, since the first Mickey's Christmas Parties start early, I think they'll be done decorating by the first party!

We go a lot the week after Thanksgiving, and the decorations are all up then.

On our 04 trip we went for halloween 10-31st to 11-12th and we came down for breakfast one morning towards the middle of our trip and the hotel had been completely decorated overnight. The parks were not done yet but I would think they would be by the wk before Thanksgiving.
