Here are some pictures I took this past week while visiting Universal.

The heaviest decorated areas were New York in Universal and Seuss Landing in IOA.

Here is New York:

And Seuss Landing. These pictures don't do justice to the wonderful, magical feeling of Seuss Landing:

The frosted Christmas trees with Seuss sayings are scattered every few feet

All the light posts are decorated:

Even the tops of the palm trees are decorated:

Pinks and greens and blues are the predominating color scheme:

And last but not least, they took down the walls where they were creating the Whoville land for Grinchmas. This area is located behind One Fish Blue Fish.

Very cool :thumbsup2 Wish I could be there now :guilty: Not just for the holiday themeing, but for the warm...looks like a lot of peeps in shorts

Hey Goofy! Thank you for the pictures! We just got back and loved the decorations! The tree in N.Y. area was beautiful at night! I loved the Seuss decorations also. Thanks for the advice on the Trattoria Thanksgiving buffet- we did it and it was incredible(never seen that much food in one place in my life) Thanks again.

The weather was picture perfect. Couldn't have asked for better. And definitely much better than Thanksgiving week last year when it snowed!

A bit of a shock though to leave Florida in the upper 70's and land in Denver just 4 hours later to 15 degrees.

So glad it worked out! We booked a last minute trip, booked it on Monday, on the plane the following Saturday. But we left Thursday afternoon, so missed Trattoria this year. Glad to hear it was as good as we had last year. I also couldn't believe all the food.

Did you do Harbor Nights? How was it? We debated staying longer just for Trattoria and Harbor Nights, but have a senior who had to get back to work on a chem project with his partners.

WOW! Thanks for the pictures! The Whoville village looks awesome!

It was really great. Better than Grinchmas decorations of past.

Makes me kick myself that I impulsively booked our trip for Thanksgiving and didn't wait a few weeks for Grinnchmas.

We did Harbor Nights- it was great! Music was fantastic. The tree lighting was beautiful- the tree is huge and it is real! We had the ground floor portofino suite so it was a perfect location. The crowd was big this time for Harbor Nights- they told me it was their biggest crowd yet. The crowds at both parks and the resort were huge on Thanksgiving day- the largest I have seen since I have been going there. It thinned out some on Friday and Saturday. I can't wait for Christmas vacation!! ( I think I am addicted to Universal.)
