Hi, we will be staying at the Beach Club Villas Nov 17 - 22. Will we get to see any Christmas decorations or are we too early?
Any pictures of the Beach Club Villas available? Thanks!

Hi. I'm not sure about the Beach Club, but a few years ago my sister got married at the GF wedding pavilion on November 19 and had her cake cutting, etc. upstairs in the hotel. It was already fabulously decorated for the holidays! We also had dinner that week at the Contemporary and it too was decorated as was Wilderness Lodge, so perhaps they all decorate together. That is a great time of year to go; Enjoy!

I've been to WDW twice the week before Thanksgiving and no there were no Christmas decorations up. Maybe a couple of early things but really no X-mas decorations. Sorry, but it is a great time to go, no crowds, pretty good weather. Do pack sweatshirts and pants. It gets cold at night.

I have been to WDW 2x's the week before Thanksgiving and we always see X-Mas decorations. We were staying at the GF once and were able to watch the tree being put together as well as the Gingerbread house. We saw decorations at the CR, and WL and BWI, but we didn't get to look at the YC/BC. We were also able to do the preview of the Osbourne lights b/c we had AP's. This is our favorite time to go because when you get there it is not decorated and then over the week you get to watch it transform. I still have the "newsletter" they give you at check in at the GF and last year they started putting the tree up on Nov.13th and the gingerbread house on Nov.12. By the time the big tree went up there were already decorations throughout the resort. Hope this helps alittle, sorry I didn't know specifically about the BC. You will love this time of year, especially with the great weather and low crowds!

Thanks for all of your input! We are really looking forward to it.
Can you tell me what not to miss on top of the regular "stuff"...such as Chip -n- Dale's sing along - I read about that on this board - anything else?
Thanks - you guys are great!

You HAVE to check out the WL! They have the best decorations around. The lobby is breathtaking!! Have a blast~;)

I know the Osborne Lights will go on at MGM on November 27, the day before Thanksgiving, but I'm not sure when decos. go up

Hi! I check into the BCV, and am also hoping the same thing. Last year, right after Xmas, I was there and talking to a CM at the GF. She said that there's so much to put up that they start earlier and earlier every year to get it all up in time. I believe she mentioned mid-November for some things. Hope she's right! What I'm especially interested in is some "soft openings" of the holiday entertainment-especially Cast in Bronze in Epcot. Saw them 2 years ago and they were outstanding. And since I have to come home (boo-hoo!) on 11/26, hoping the Osborne Lights go on early.
