I was wondering the same thing since we'll be on the 11/27 sailing of the Magic. Two years ago we went to the WL the Friday before Thanksgiving and the decorations were already up. I'm hoping the same thing will be true of the ship.
When we boarded The Magic 11/15 there were some decorations out already. On Sunday morning we were surprised by the huge beautiful tree in the atrium. It was quite a nice surprise since we were sailing before Thanksgiving. I asked a CM & they said that everything was already out so you will see the complete package.
We have cruised 3 times in Jan and especially love the Christmas decorations. I purposely booked Jan 4th in 2003 thinking that for sure the decorations would still be up. Guess what? Everything was already down!!! Hope you have better luck. It really does add to the festive feel of the cruise.
