Christmas decorations Grand Floridian?

Does anyone know exactly when the Christmas decorations go up at the Grand Floridian? We will be there the week of Thanksgiving and were thinking of getting a PS at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast that week. Would love to time it in order to see the beautiful decor.

Normally, they are up the day after Thanksgiving in the parks, with the hotels following suit that day or right after. I would doublecheck with the resort though to be on the safe side. You could always make your reservation and then cancel if you needed to.

We arrived at the GF on Nov. 15th and the tree was up. They put the gingerbread house together over the course of the week we were there. (We went home the day prior to Thanksgiving.)

The tree was also up at the WL and Christmas trees began popping up at the parks the weekend prior to Thanksgiving.

Most everything is up on Thanksgiving or the day after. They are usually still working on the gingerbread house.

Just an FYI, while the holiday decorations at the GF are lovely, IMHO the BW lobby is prettier. And if you want your socks knocked off, head over to the AKL!
