Christmas decorations at AKL?

Are the Christmas decorations at the AKL worth going to see? We will be at WDW for 5 days in Dec. and I want to see as much of the great decorations as possible. I know that we should definitely go to the GF and the WL but what about the decorations at AKL? Nine year old DD mentioned wanting to go eat at Boma and then we could view the decorations at AKL but I'm not sure of how to fit in a meal at Boma, we had pretty much had all our big meals planned out (I guess I could eliminate dinner at Trails End Buffet at Ft. Wilderness).

I stayed at the AKL over the holidays once and thought the decorations were beautiful, especially at night (I don't think there's a prettier lobby at night than the AKL's, no matter what time of year it is). Janet, I think your photos are great! Thanks for posting them! After seeing those I definitely want to make a visit to AKL in Dec. so I guess we'll eat at Boma and try Trails End next trip. It would be nice to explore AkL a bit anyways because we didn't see much when we were there 2 years ago because it was pooring out. Thanks again.

We stayed at AKL last December and I have to agree with Janet2K...not a prettier lobby can be found

Also...You will not regret planning a meal at Boma! Been there...loved it...wish I was heading back!
