Christmas Decorations 2016

Hi, This is a question for folks that have been to the world during Christmas a number of times over the years. What do you think of the decorations this year?less, more or about the same. Havent seen much talked about on the boards this season.

The single loss of the Osborne Lights makes all the difference.
It is impossible to answer "more" or "about the same."

MK- looks the be the same as the past.
Epcot and AK as well.
DHS got a little more decor on Hollywood Boulevard, and got jingle Bell Jingle Bam but lost Osborne lights. So a bit less there.

I like what hollywood studios did.

Springs has much more. They did really well there also.

We thought overall it seemed less. While some things remained the same (garland hanging, trees where there are normally trees, etc.), we definitely noticed places that were less like fewer window displays that weren't the store products with a tree sitting next to it, or like no gingerbread store at the Boardwalk. The stores seemed to have fewer decorations too. DS had more by way of the tree trail, but they removed one of the large trees in the marketplace area, & the trees in the tree trail seemed a little less than the elaborate Disney norm. Still overall a great place to be for the holidays, but last year the decorations seemed to be more enveloping.

I agree I think DHS did much better job this year and Disney Springs was very nicely done.

Last DHS practically had nothing at all.

I agree, Hollywood Blvd looked really great, probably the most decorated area on property. However, I'm still massively bitter about how crappy JBJB was and the lack of notice after a big part of our trip plan was getting my DS to see the SW fireworks. BITTER.

Missed Osbourne Lights!
We noticed less at Yacht Club when we were there for our IllumiNations cruise...
Agree though about HS street decorations, really old Hollywood! Felt like the 1930s - 40s.
