I have seen people mention that some companies do discounts on christmas day..Do you think they will do them this year and if so what companies normally do them

I have heard that Virgin do a Christmas Day discount but I've never tried this myself, so can't verify - sorry!

It may be worth a try calling them though.

I'd be interested to know if TCD do a Christmas Day discount but I can't imagine they would, they're somewhat bargain bucket to begin with.

Im so desperate to go back Im trying to win DH around so I thought if there was a nice discount he would go for it
We went with TCD this year and had no problems only the fact we had to wait about 2 hours for our hire car but that wasn't TCD fault.

They didn't advertise it but Virgin had 15% off on Christmas Day and NewYears Day

Think they might also have done it at Easter.

As I say though they didn't advertise it, it was just a bonus if you logged on on the day .

Virgin did indeed do 15% discount if booking direct with them on both Good Friday and Easter Monday, I know as I was just browsing their site at that time and ended up booking for three weeks this coming May.

Still not sure if that means I saved £100's or blew £1000's
