Does anyone know if any of the restaurants at the resorts have a traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas day?

Thanks

We didn't find one. But, to be honest, we were not looking.
I think we did Akershus for lunch on Christmas day.
I thought I would feel odd not having Christmas dinner, but, I find being on holiday is much better *for me* than doing Christmas.

This will be my 7th christmas day in WDW and we haven't found anywhere that serves a traditional American christmas dinner. We skip a sit down lunch and eat at Narcoosee's early evening instead. Our traditional christmas dinner is now filet mignon :santa:

That's what ours is too even at home.

While I understand most Americans eat turkey on Thanksgiving and ham or lamb for Easter and in some areas pork is a New Year's Day staple, what exactly is the definition of a traditional Christmas dinner?

1) SOME eateries have a different menu.
2) But, unlike Thanksgiving, there is no such thing as a "Traditional Christmas Dinner" in the USA.
3) So, the answer is NO", there are no eateries with traditional Christmas dinners.

NOTE: If anyone believes there is a "traditional" meal, please list it here.

As we don't have Thanksgiving, (because let's face it, why would you make the same big meal twice in a month?) In the UK there IS a traditional Christmas meal, although, people are diversifying all the time. I had thought maybe R&C would have gone with it.

I was not disappointed not to find such a thing, what with not being in the UK (I don't believe in expecting other places to deliver *home* expectations on vacation) but, Christmas Dinner is an ingrained concept I had to consciously divest myself of.

There is not a traditional Christmas meal. I think most of us have traditions, but they are either family traditions or religious traditions.

When we are in WDW on Thanksgiving Day, we deliberately do not have our turkey dinner. On CHristmas Eve or Christmas Day we would just book a signature restaurant and enjoy the meal.
