We will be there at Christmas this year, and we think that Christmas day will be super crowded. Suggestions on what to do that day? Which parks are least crowded? Special Events? Places to Eat? Etc. We have a group of 10, all ages. Thanks.

We are going with Animal Kingdom. You could also plan a non-park day.

I don't know if these things are all available, though I would guess they would be and you could do some combination of them as a non park day:

Chef Mickey's
Perfectly Princess Tea at the Grand Floridian
Ft. Wilderness activities: pony rides, buffet breakfast, Hoop De Doo show
Miniature golf
Fishing excursions
Parasailing
Resort hop and look at all the resort decorations

I suggest Gaylord Palms and ICE!

We have NOT been there on Christmas day but I have read several times on these boards that early on Christmas morning is not too busy as many people open gifts and do more traditional things before heading to the parks. They do become very crowded as the day goes on. If opening Santa is not a big part of your morning, maybe choose the morning EMH park and be there at rope drop. Tour till things get crazy and have an lunch ADR and then head back to the resort to do gifts or your traditional Christmas activities.

We will be at WDW MK on the 25th and based on our experience, we will be there 30-45 minutes before rope drop and plan to stay the entire day. We will just relax when the park get too crazy. Our dining plan throughout our entire stay is to avoid all quick service and only do ADR's. This will help with all the crowds and ensure you have a magical time.

The benefit we have is that we visit so often, we are not pressed to visit all or even too many attractions because we will be back in a few months. We just love being there with all the decorations and the energy is great.

If you really want to spend money, you can always try to get ADR for breakfast at Cinderella's Castle before the park opens. I think we will end up at Chef Mickey's then take to monorail or walk over to MK.

Hope this helps.
