Hi Guys,

We are staying at BW on Christmas Day....any suggestions as to where to eat and have a traditional Christmas Dinner....ie: turkey, stuffing, etc.?

Thanks.

It will be our first Christmas eve dinner at WDW, so I cant advise where to eat, but I will stress what I have read on a lot of forums - Make sure you look up the Priority Seating Calling Dates for the WDW and Resort Resturants and ink the dates you can start calling on the calendar and times - the "main" resturants book fast from what I have read.

Had Christmas dinner 2000 at the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge. It was an "all you care to eat" affair served at the table. It was the traditional turkey, stuffing, etc. Quite good - and filling - for about $21/each.

I've also read on this site that a traditional holiday dinner is available at the Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom.

Last year we ate at Cape May Cafe at The Beach Club (buffet meal...it was good) and the year before we ate at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge (homestyle type meal....turkey, etc). Either location was fine.

Enjoy your Christmas vacation at WDW!

Just be prepared for a "special menu" as they do raise the prices for that day, as well as on Christmas Eve.

BTW, we'll be at OKW for the holidays!!!

We're going to pick up a precooked Christmas dinner at Goodings on Christmas Eve and eat in our home at OKW. $35.99 for a 10-12 lb turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce. They also have a ham dinner. I plan to call about a week ahead and place the order.

Just a reminder, for PS on Christmas Day, they require a credit card. I believe you can cancel up to 24 hours before, but if you don't cancel and don't show, they charge your credit card a fee.

So, have a credit card handy when making PS.

Unless your obstinant about not 'cooking' on your vacation, I'd recommend something like this. The prices are cheaper, you don't have to worry about reservations, and most importantly, you'll have the traditional leftovers. :)
