We were there!!!!
After years of just walking by when they were taping the parade at DL and at WDW, we finally decided to jump in. We had been at the park the previous week and we were going that morning just to hit some of the headlines. But then my wife spotted some Hollywood stars and we planted ourselves right where the taping was happening. So I would say there's a high probability you'll see us on Christmas Day!
What made my wife stop was this young man, Sean Giambone. He stars at Adam Goldberg on "The Goldbergs". We LOVE this show! So that's what really got us to stop. And when he saw my wife taking a selfie, he threw up a huge grin! What a cool dude.
He was really, really nice - he was just like the sweet boy he plays on TV. He even stopped to take a pic with me. Also in this picture is Olivia Rodrigo from the tween-show, Bizardvark.
Being introduced on this Christmas Day Parade show will be a new group called Club Mickey Mouse. I saw a poster ad with just the name earlier last week and was wondering who this was. We found out!
And then my daughter got to meet and take a picture with Ky, the first "Mickey Mouse Club" member to be from overseas. He's from Sydney! And yes, my daughter is now in love.
Hosting the event is Jesse Palmer, former NFL quarterback, current ESPN analyst, and most important for me, a Florida Gator! This is how close we were during taping!
And I even got my picture with him in the Mickey Ears the Hollywood crew gave to me so that I'd look more "Disney" on camera.
