DH and I are going to be at WDW for Christmas. If you were going to be at Disney on Christmas, where would you suggest having Christmas Dinner (around 1:00)

My first thought is MK and CRT. But the saner side of me is thinking that is a bit too crowded. We are staying at the BWV and I am thinking of going to Epcot.

Would love to hear any suggestions or experiences for Christmas Day.
TIA!

MK is crazy on christmas day but we did go there in 1998 and ate at LTT for dinner (not lunch). It was very festive with characters in colonial wear and turkey dinner with all the fixins(ham also). If you do decide to eat there and make a ps, get to MK early and plan to stay because the park reaches capacity and at that point is closed to all visitors including resort guests. Our friends were staying at CBR and tried to enter MK around 5pm to meet us and they were not allowed to enter. This has also happened for NYE for the last 2 years at MK by 10am(we have been at WDW and know this first hand although we have chosen other parks for that day). Another option is eating at one of the resorts and avoiding the parks altogether, but make PS at 90 days and they will ask for cc# because it is a holiday.

Everything is crazy on Christmas day! Don't let that make up your mind. We ate at Chef Mickey's two years ago because they had a special Christmas menu which included Lobster Bisque. Yum!

We are doing the Candlelight Processional on Christmas day. My understanding is that the CPP will probably be available for booking in late August which is earlier than the 90 days typical for PS. If there are lots of others wanting to make a CPP on Christmas day, by the 90-day out mark, it might be difficult finding a restaurant in Epcot. Last year there were reports that if you didn't have a dinner PS in Epcot between Christmas eve to NYE you weren't going to eat anything but counter service. We love Le Cellier but have decided to eat lunch there one day and go to Les Chef de France for our Candlelight package.

You could certainly start (early!) in MK and have lunch at the Castle and then leave. We're definitely going first thing and then leaving for a Chef Mickey's late bkft at 11am. I'm not looking to ride rides so much as to enjoy the atmosphere in the Magic Kingdom on Christmas morning!!

Disney and Christmas - my two favorite things together. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!
