We are planning a trip to Disney next Christmas. I know Magic Kingdom is extremely crowded on Christmas day, but what about the rest of the parks? I can't decide if we should leave on the 24th or stick around for a couple days after Christmas. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've never toured WDW during this time frame so I'm just going to bump this back to page one for you.

We were at WDW for Christmas day last year (12/18-12/26). We went to Epcot. It wasn't crowded but it POURED!!!! It was not very fun being wet (we had ponchos but our legs got wet!). I would go back for Christmas again but my family didn't like being away from home on Christmas day (more the kids didn't like being away from their presents! - they are older and we opened gifts when we got back). I may try to work on them for next year! Go to the parks early and I would get park hoppers so I could go to a different park if it was too crowded.

We've been several times on Christmas Day and all the parks have always been very crowded. It's not unusual for one or more parks to close by 10 a.m. when the parking lots reach capacity. Magic Kingdom is by far the worst, though. Also, if you haven't made dining reservations in advance it can be pretty tough getting into a sit-down restaurant.
