Maybe we've waited too long, but my family has FINALLY decided on desserts for Christmas. Instead of cake, we've decided to do cupcakes, BUT we can't find Christmas cupcake paper anywhere! I'm talking about the paper, holders, liners that you put in the pan then fill with the batter (I only explain because a few employees I've asked had no idea what I was talking about). I've tried the usual places, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Publix (Florida supermarket), no luck. Trying to avoid ordering online...Does anyone know of anywhere I might be able to find them in Florida????? Help would be so appreciated!!! :worship:

Have you tried Walmart? They have a baking section in the Christmas aisle and the Christmas candy aisle. Wilton has a few different designs.

Michaels Craft Store had them when I was there on Sunday.

My Target had some in the Christmas aisles near the candy and such. I also saw some at AcMoore and Michaels.

A Party Supply store might have them too.

My Michael's has a ton of them left. Probably because the holiday cupcake liners are not located with all the holiday items the store has. They are on the endcap of the aisle where all the cake decorating supplies are. Our Michael's has about 4 different kinds (including snowmen & gingerbreadmen).

**If you can't locate any, I wouldn't worry about it. Just use any old solid color. By the time you put a cupcake in there, and load it with frosting, sprinkles, etc., no one really notices the liner anyway.

I agree that you shouldn't stress too much about it. Never seems like you can see the design once you bake a cupcake in it. Load it up with festive frosting and sprinkles, and they'll be "Christmas" enough!

Dollar Stores, Family Dollar..:santa:

I got some from Aldi's of all places!

I agree with the PP that said you don't have to have specific cupcake liners. White or silver will work, too.

Thanks everyone - there were some places I hadn't even thought of! :goodvibes And thanks for the great advice! Silver is definitely Plan B :santa:

Michaels or Joann Fabrics, in the baking departments.

My Aldi's still had them about five hours ago, but they had a lot fewer than last week. Craft store is a good idea b/c they may keep them year round.

Did you know they make non fading liners now? Not that it is related to OPs concern but they do exist.

OP, I am sure you will be successful.:thumbsup2

My Michael's still had a bunch of the holiday themed ones as of three hours ago.
