Christmas Cruising 2005

Happy Bday to Aladin's Clone (says Miss Molly) :woohoo: :rockband: party: :cake: :bday:

Hope you have a great night tonight...enjoy your teenage years....they go too fast.

I can taste the Rum drink o' the day....or was it beer that night, ya it was beer...

I think I need to start a post about the rum, whatdoyouthinkaboutthat?

Hi All!

:Pinkbounc HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JESSE!!! :bounce:

What a busy week! And I have my review to get my performance pay on Monday, so it will be a busy weekend, too!

Nan, I just adore the bedding, too. I knew I wanted pink and green but never thought I'd find something that perfect. I was thinking of making the bedding myself, if I ever figure out how to use my new sewing machine. :confused3
Aisling, John's Mother said pretty much the same thing about the bedding. She said it wasn't so baby girlie that Piper can't grow with it. I think/hope that by the time we're done with the nursery, that it will be a good toddler room, too. Then when she gets to be 10 she'll be wanting black walls or something, with my luck! I may just have to move her into the other room and keep hers for myself! :rotfl2:

Tig, I love those "hidden mickey" flowers. I think they're my favorite plant on the whole island. :goodvibes I think that your boss should find a way to get his wife involved with the Ducati. I was terrified of motorcycles when John bought Bella, but then he started showing me all these cute motorcycle jackets and boots and such for girls and I was like "Hey! I wanna ride, too!" Of course, now I can't/won't ride her for a long while, but I don't mind so much knowing that I'll have Piper to keep me company while Daddy is on a ride. :cloud9:

Glad your ear's getting better, Nan. That's a terrific picture of the kids! I miss seeing all the funny little faces they made at dinner when they were tired, being silly or excited.

Well, I'm going to hop on the couch with my sweetie.

Talk to you all later!

That's a nice thought but the Boss' wife is nothing like you

Even Brittany agrees...

we also think you have until Piper's about 14 before she wants the black walls ;)

Or maybe 13 and 7/8ths years old! This is so funny, because about 2 weeks ago, Jesse wanted black walls, and when I said no, he asked for black bedding, which is fine with me. In the meantime, I did buy him black vertical blinds for his bedroom windows. His walls are white, so the black actually looks good.

Tig, Chad's at work and I emailed him about the banana boat pictures. I'm pretty sure I asked him to post them a while ago, but I didn't pursue it. This time, I'll make sure he does. ;)

And what's with Capt. Tom? Does he EVER look into the camera?? Nan, you should have grabbed him around his waist for that picture.

I think I need to start a post about the rum, whatdoyouthinkaboutthat?
I like it. We definitely should have had more rum drinks on that cruise. And then gone to the clubs for a giggle session! There was one night that was so nice, Tig you remember. When we were at one of the clubs late one night watching the Santa Hoochies doing their little sing-and-dance number. Grim and Dede were there, and Karen and Dom. Tig, was your mom there? I had probably 3 rum daiquiris, and they didn't hit me until I got back to our room, and then I went kaput for the night. And I realize until the next day that the white tshirt I was wearing had red daiquiri splotches all over it. It was so dark in that club, I didn't know I was spilling drink all over myself.

Ayup, Mom was there for a little while...

She always goes off by herself but she does check in first :)

That was an awesome night!

~Having everybody together at dinner was probably my favorite time of each night~

It would've been perfect if the folks with the early dining were able to join us as well...

Did the BB pics turn out good?

~I was playin with special editing effects on pictures tonight and did this for you Nan~

I love the pictures of the sky.
Is the What's Your Mountain your store, Tiggie? That's a pretty big store. I'd love to get Jesse a bike, like the one the boy in your picture was riding. He asked a few times, but without much enthusiasm. There's nowhere decent to ride a bike around here. I'd have to drive him and his bike to a park to ride it, since it's all sidewalk where we live. He and his friends are big into handball, so at least he gets exercise! Just curious, do you sell handballs and gloves?

I was a bit worried for a few days, I thought I was going to get banned from the Dis. :guilty: I let myself get caught up in a stupid thread, and I lost control, and got very sarcastic, even criticizing the mods. It turned out ok, since the thread was closed. If I ever get banned, I'll just become Aladdin's Clone for a while! But this shouldn't happen again. I'm usually not into arguments.

Two months until my WDW trip. I'm praying for a code. Dede, I'll be shopping for Piper in DD, remember? :thumbsup2 You'll need to fill me in again before then, so I get the exact thing you want.

Nice photo of Dom's crew!

We're temporarily in a small space next door til the big one is ready...

And yes, that's our place :teeth:

Do you think Jesse is more interested in a road bike (like what messengers ride)?

Tell him to check Guru, Kona, Del Sol, Kestrel & Haro online...we carry all those lines. Let me know if there is anything that catches his eye.

No, we don't have anything for handball, that's not played much in my parts.

You are waaay too sweet to get banned my friend

Share your plans with us here for your trip, I have absolutely none planned so I want to hear all about yours...

I was glad to have seen Dom's crew on formal night, I made a point to pose them on those stairs. Turned out a little bright but nice. :groom: :bride: :bride:

hey there, haven't been around for a while. Got snowed under with the sick recovery thing, then in the thick of it with my mom. Not a great story, so I'll spare you all since I think you pretty much can guess details...

Working tonight so I can't stay and chat.

Hope everyone is well.

Thanks for that cute funky picture thing Tigg.

~I'll pray for you Nan that things get better with Mom,

May I presume the ear is getting better or are you still having complications with that too?~

I can handle just about any pain except in the ears and eyes...for some reason those'll always put me right out of commission.

Parents, well...that's another story ;)

 Hi Mom!

~I did *2* things today!~

well 3 actually...

I straightened my hair, took pictures of it & fancied 'm up a little bit ;)

OMG is that really your hair, or did you tweek yourself into someone else's photo?
You look like a rocker-babe! I think I'm speechless! Didn't there used to be a smilie with it's eyes poppoing out of it's head?? You look cool!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE your wild, curly hair, and I LOVE the straight hair, too! But if you tweeked the picture, please tell me how to do things like that, many of my photos can use some serious tweeking! I also love what you did with Wilson and Molly with Mickey. You're amazing.

I can't wait for the rest of our gang to see you!

It's really my hair ::yes::

It took me a few HOURS to do that tho :earseek:

 Thank you dahling :worship:

At work I'm using Corel, it's nice but lacking in special editing option. At home, I edit my pictures with Adobe Photo Business Deluxe edition...most of the changes are built into the program. I did not use a flash so the color in my picture was a bit off. I used the coloring with clouds, sharpening, dust removal and b&w options to get the effects.

With Nan's pic, I used a cloning feature to eliminate the background and then played with the special effects to get the embossed look.

There are a million editing programs out there, read what they offer til you find one that suits your level of computerability. no,wad,i,mean?

Hi all!

Tig, your hair does look great all straight like that. It makes you look mysterious. :smooth:

Only 3 more weeks of school after this one. Whew! Then I can concentrate on Piper! I think that I finally felt her move over the weekend, in the middle of the night. :goodvibes

My Mom, Sis, and Aunt are coming out this weekend. I'm so excited! John's sister is having a baby shower for me this weekend. It should be a great weekend!

Its getting really hot here. We've gotten very close to 100 the past few days. Summer is definitely around the corner.

Hope all is well with everyone. I probably won't check back in until my company leaves next Tuesday, so have a good rest of your week, and a great weekend!

Bye for now
