So, I have a question about the DCL transportation. We took a Towncar last time, so this is new to me.

I purchased the transfers from AKL to the port, but no mention was made of WHEN the bus leaves. Is there just one bus? Or are there several pickups? Will they send a 'short bus' just for me?

Grim, the bus from AKL leaves at 12:45 on cruise day. When you check in to AKL, tell them that you're using DCL transfers, and they'll tell you where to meet the bus on cruise day. The CM I spoke to said if all the people on the list get there early, like say by 12:30, then the bus will leave at 12:30.

She also said if you miss the bus, they can put you on another bus that leaves from Animal Kingdom, but I don't think you'll miss the bus! I know I'll be down in that lobby at 12 noon!

Also, when you get your docs, the precise info about the transfer is going to be included, like about luggage pickup, etc.

I remember when we stayed at the Beach Club we saw people waiting for the DCL bus, and I was so jealous! Now it's our turn!!!!!

Hey gang, if any of you couldn't get your choice of excursions, check the DCL site again. A lot of them are now available.

I've been obsessing over how to handle St. Martin. We have the morning down, but uncertain about the afternoon. I really want to see both sides of the island, and not do it through DCL. I'm looking into people's experiences with going out on their own via taxi or rental car. Jesse and I are booked on the Under Two Flags Island tour with DCL, while Chad does the mountain biking, but I want the three of us to do something together. We don't want to do beaches at St. Martin, but instead do sightseeing, so that's how I've been using all my free time, looking into all options.

I'm going to read some TRs now. BBL
