Looks like the guilt trip worked....we are going....going....going to Disneyland....We're leaving on Sunday 7/24 staying until Wed afternoon/night 7/27...Perhaps Paul will come perhaps not...I asked a girlfriend at summer school if she wanted to come, she called her hubby and they are budgeting tonight to see...so it may just be me & the kids and her and her kids DS 5, DSD(step)11 (10 for ticketing purposes) Both the my kids like her kids even if Molly & Samantha(the other one) are 3 years apart, they still get along well. SO......maybe Paul's pixie wish comes true....how can anyone not want to go?

All this to use my AP (or at least that was my scam....)

Best get cakes baked and strawberries dipped into the choc for th party.

We fly Sat LA for 3 nights, Candy Cane Inn for 4 nights at DL, we arrive on the wed 27th, then cruise on the magic 7 nights, 4 nights driving up route 1 2 nights in san francisco then home !!

On our cruise in Aug We had requested late seating. somehow our tickets were listed as early. We went to dinner at late seating & went to the head server & he accomodated us.

ThePassporter field guide states if you want to sit with traveling companions to contact DCL well ahead of your departure date & have it noted on your reservation.

There is also a Dining Assignment Change session scheduled on the first afternoon. (check the personal navigator for time)

Love the photos, Grim. I didn't know they still had the Electrical Parade at DL. I thought they were doing Spectro like at WDW.

Just a thought about dinner rotation, if we don't all sit together at the same table, just having the same rotation would be great, too, so that we can see each other all dressed up for pirate night, and formal of course! If you like PLA, which I think is the ideal rotation, call your TA and request it. No guarantees, but they do try to honor requests.

So Grim just got back from a trip, Tig, Jill, and I think Nan are going on trips soon, anything up with you Kris? I'm really trying to save some $ for the cruise, so we're staying put. I'm so scared to get my electric bill, with the air conditioners running day and night with this sauna outside, it's going to be very high. But it really has been so uncomfortable, no way of getting to sleep at night without the air on.

All the summer clothes are on sale, soon to be clearanced, and I wanted to buy a few pairs of shorts for the cruise, but I don't know what size I'll be! If I stick with Curves and my diet, I'll be slimmer by then, but how much? Thank goodness for ebay, I guess.

I intend to lose weight but need clothes now. So I buy some for now and as you would normally do, if you need something smaller for the cruise you can Ebay it later

It's funny you mention it, 'cause Casey and I were just talking about it! Mel says that Casey and I should plan a trip closer to home to save money. We'll see. But he'll be here tomorrow, and I promised him stir fried shrimp and cabbage, so my house is gonna stink!

I'll keep it up, but it's hard. As an aside, this particular Curves is in a Hassidic Jewish neighborhood, so imagine being surrounded by ladies wearing wigs and long skirts and sleeves. It's hilarious that my SIL and I are in shorts and Tees, wet towels around our necks, our faces beet red and sweating like mad, and these Hassidic ladies are cool cucumbers in their long skirts! We're like two knuckleheads bumping into eachother as we do the exercise circuit, but it really is a good workout.

I wish I had a big vanilla milkshake right now. If Chad were home, I'd send him to the drive thru, but he's at a wedding. We have ice cream in the freezer, but it's mint, which I don't like. Oh well, it's better for me not to have it.
