Christmas cleaning!

Well after today, my next day off is Christmas Day , so today has been spent cleaning, cleaning & more cleaning

So now it's down to my DH & DD's to keep the house clean all week
I'am quite lucky really because my DH is a dab hand with the housework , especially the ironing and cooking

I'm cleaning today too, but only because my DD's had their friends over last night for a sleepover ~ I don't think our recycling men have ever picked up so many bottles from our house before

My Mum did her insane cleaning yesterday (She's a bit of an obsessive....) so the house is beautiful and sparklesome! We aren't allowed to eat anything that can make crumbs, and we have to hover above the floors, but hey!

Cleaning for me tomorrow - day off thank goodness. Then back to work for half a day on Christmas Eve - so will be a bit manic - but it will be great to have the house all clean and tidy.

Now if I could just get the girls to tidy their rooms I would be happy

I did some cleaning today, but seen as I am not hosting Christmas this year I haven't felt the need to do the usual total Christmas house clean!! I have quite enjoyed not having to do that!!

Did my crazy Christmas clean-up at the weekend - steam cleaned everything that wasn't moving and even managed the high-up damp dusting ritual - we are gleamin'!!! Just gotta get the conservatory ready for the Big Day now...

Good luck Jo , my 2 just watched yesterday and then decided to cut out and glue in the front room But at least they weren't arguing

True I've warned my two that seeing that they're 10 and 12 they will clean their bedrooms without any nagging, lets see if it works
