Christmas Cards Mailed

Put them in the mail this morning. Didn't bother with much in the way of notes, but they're gone.

Mine are done, but I only send out about a dozen, and I use the printer to do the addresses. I can do it all in about an afternoon.

60 cards.

Did half of them on 12/7...mailed those!

The other half on 12/11...mailed those!

Did the last of them last night...mailed this a.m.

I wrote a note in just about everyone of them.

30 cards, no notes (although we do sign them differently for different people...I use my "nickname" for family cards), pre-printed return address labels, hand printed addresses, and I got mine done last Sunday and out in the mail last Monday. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I get them done.
And I got all of my gifts wrapped on Saturday! I always love the way the tree looks with lots of pretty packages underneath!!

We are trying to get ours out today! I am glad I am not the only one that still hasn't sent them! We send about 30. We had a snow day from school today (I'm a teacher!) so it is a perfect day to get them done!

I have 2 left to go, did over 30 of them. I always write a yearly update letter since we dont see or live by anyone. That is only for those we dont talk to on the phone or e mail.

This year was so hard as I had to tell them all I have cancer.

We always have a picture of the 3 ds too and I wasnt up to even asking them to do it. I am sure everyone will understand.

I have only gotten a few cards so far, so I am proud I am ahead of them for a change. I usually do it like 2 days before christmas.

Sadly, after 17 years of marriage, this year is the first year I didn't do Christmas cards. My budget needed to be trimmed somewhere, and by the time you buy 60+ cards, get 60+ wallet size photos of the kids and get postage x60+, it really adds up.

I am planning to send Christmas emails with a photo attachment, though. Not the same, I know, but I didn't want everyone to think I had forgotten them, or that they were left "off the list" for some reason.
