I'm excited to be coming back to the Fort this year for CHRISTmas!! This past year we decided to stay at Port Orleans Riverside due to it being a long haul for our aunt and Uncle who come from Idaho. But they missed it also sooo we will all be back in December:cool1:

:woohoo: The Fort all decorated for CHRISTmas, no other resort comes close to that. :thumbsup2

Hey disneychck, we will be there Nove 29th to Dec 13th. Hope to see you there.

Dave

Hey Dave,

Don't dis-assemble too soon. I don't think we'll be there before the 12th. We never got to see the whole show last year because DW bailed out of the GC and broke her arm.

Ken

I would love to pass on the traditional Christmas one of these years and head to Disney for a week!!! I have the time off anyways, my with however, does not get that time off. I don't see it in my near future.

What !!! How did she break her arm?

Well, after hearing all the people in our community complain about me not doing the castle show at home this past Christmas (I didn't think anybody would notice). I have changed our plans. We will now arrive at the Fort on Nove 29th and depart Dec 13th. I've promised that I would have it up and running at home on the 15th.

Oh come on Ken, you can get there a couple days early!!!!!!!

As we were finishing the GC parade on Christmas Eve I turned to go to the lot behind the Bike barn. Judy had been tossing candy to kids and was sitting near the front edge of the seat. As I turned left, Judy literally flew out the right side, hitting her head on the rail fence and falling to the pavement, breaking her left arm just below the shoulder. She was in the hospital for six days while I kept the kids in the MH at the Fort. They put a rod in with three screws. She has now finished her therapy, but has some months to go before full healing. We were fortunate to get help from fiends bringing us food and bringing Judy back to us when she was discharged on New Years Eve-Eve. Looking at our schedule, we should get to the Fort late on the 11th, so we should be able to get by your place before you dis-assemble.
