Christmas at Sea World

Hi!

I'm in the middle of planning our Disney/Universal/Sea World trip for my family from November 28th to December 8th. I was disappointed to see that Universal only starts their Christmas celebrations on December 7th, so we're going to miss Grinchmas and all of their other offerings.

We're going to Sea World on Friday, December 6th and I was wondering if anybody could tell me if they're going to be decorated for Christmas and have all of their holiday shows running. I know that until it gets closer to Christmas, they only run it on select nights but I didn't know when those nights were.

I think I read somewhere it doesn't start until Dec 14th, but could be wrong. We are going at Xmas but on the 23rd to the 3rd of Jan!

The weeekend is a good chance to have holiday shows too. SW actually starts around thanksgiving. I am not on the computer but if you look at closing times throughout that time the days that they close late at around 11 will be a day with holiday shows. But all the decorations will be up way before then.

I just got on the computer and the 6th is a day they close at 9pm so no extra shows. The decor will most definitely be up since they start the holiday shows the weekend after thanksgiving. But the 7th is a late night and will have the holiday shows. Not sure what your tickets and plans are but if you wanted you could go on the 6th and buy the 2nd day ticket for $10 and come back later in the day on the 7th and do just the holiday shows.

My computer is not compatible with the area on the SW site that talks about this event so if someone could tell me if they will have Sea World Christmas on 12/13 I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

This my best guess so far. SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration will probably coincide with dates that have closing times of 9:00pm or 11:00pm:
* Saturday, November 23rd thru Sunday, December 1st
* Friday, December 6th thru Sunday, December 8th
* Friday, December 13th thru Tuesday, December 31st

Ok that's good. I wasn't sure if the 9pm closings would too. I can't remember but I could have sworn the sundays were at 6pm maybe they are changing it up this yr. I'm going to have to take another look. Since we will probably be spending a lot of time there while DH is off from work.
