We are arriving on Christmas eve day and having a tree from the WDW florist delivered. I am going to fill stockings like normal and then give them each (3 children) a decent digital camera on Christmas morning. They are aware that they are only getting one gift under the tree this year for Christmas (that's how I worded it). (We will continue our family traditions for Christmas eve - as if we were home.) However, they don't know that actually they are getting a present under the tree on each of the 9 days we are there. We are not in real "reality" when at WDW, so why shouldn't everyday be like Christmas? It may not always be in the morning but it will always be under the tree. They know they are getting spending money but they don't know how much and that it's going to be a pre-paid credit card (another surprise). This doesn't include the few new clothes and shoes they will be getting as well. The children do know that this trip will be sprinkled with many different surprises. That's the most they are getting out of me and they are LOVING the anticipation.
We are sooooooooooooooo excited because we have been saving for this huge vacation (ever since Feb. of 2004) and we are in the final stages. This is starting to get fun. Christmas is ALWAYS a HUGE deal around here, so why shouldn't it be as well at WDW.
Hope you have a great trip!
