You might wish to make a reservation for breakfast at Cinderalla's Castle. Some things that I like to do during the holiday season (I will be onsite from December 14 to December 22 and offsite from December 22 to December 29) is see the Osborne lights at MGM studio and the Candlelight processional is very nice at Epcot. Also, if you have time, at Epcot the various countries have various presentations based on the Xmas theme. In addition, the various resorts have different Christmas displays that are nice. At Downtown Disney, at various times there will be choirs singing (also when I stayed at the Boardwalk last year and at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge the year before, there were choirs singing at these resorts as well). At various times at Epcot, the characters will show up next the lagoon with some singing and dancing but it is a great photo opportunity. Hope this helps some.

Since you will be 21 I would hit Pleasure Island, the mecca of Disney nightlife! There are numerous bars, nightclubs, etc, and "every night is New Year's Eve". One cover charge gets you into all of them. My own personal advice, don't plan anything besides sleeping in late the next day. Hit Epcot, visit the countries and see "Illuminations" and then hit PI once Epcot closes.

One other tip: a 7am tee time the night after PI is NOT a good thing to have! hehe :rolleyes1

If it were me, I would sign up at TourGuideMike.com. There's a link on this site that will give you a discount (I think it costs about $20 with the discount). Since you're going at a very busy time, I think you'll find that his information is very helpful.

I've been to Disney World lots of times, but when we went the week before Christmas last year (left just before Christmas Eve), I signed up just in case. I can honestly say that it made a real difference (and it will be much more crowded the week you're there). $20 isn't much when you consider how much you spend overall, and his directions were tailored to our family's trip. I have the guide books and felt like his help was better (JMHO).

Either way, have a great time! :santa:
