I'm talking my daughter (age 9) out of school for a few days to experience the Christmas Around the World activities at Epcot. I know she'll be exposed to a lot from these presentations, but I'd like some "activity" to reinforce some of the things that we'll be learning about.
The thing is, never being there myself, I'm a bit unsure how to structure this. Should I prepare the same set of generic questions for each country, or should I preview some of the presentations and create questions from that (Note: I'd like to avoid this if I could to keep these presentations "fresh" for me as well).
Some of the more generic questions I thought of are:
* how do children celebrate the holidays in this country?
* what special holiday traditions does the country have?
* what special foods are prepared for the holidays?
* what is Santa called in this country?
Like I said, I'm not even sure these questions are appropriate or will be answered in the presentations, but we can always ask a cast member, right?
Any ideas on how I can make this work a little better?
Does Epcot have an children's activity book for the holidays? I'm thinking something like the Food and Wine Passport.
Thanks in advance!
