We are debating between going the 1st week of Christmas season or the 2nd week, which would be November 7th to 10th or 14th to 17th.

My main concerns would be which is quieter... We are going Monday to Thursday with two kiddies, who will be 2 and 6 and are (budget withstanding) staying in SL!!

Any help / tips / must dos are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Either of these weeks will be quiet, but avoid 11th November, Armistice Day. This is a public holiday in France.

I'd go on the 7th. I think Mickey's Magical Bonfire is on the 3rd, 5th & 7th next year so you'll get to watch fireworks on your first night.

Hi
we went this year 7th-12th Novemeber (first day of christmas season) deffinetly avoid the 11th if you can it was so busy. apart from this the 7th-10th was quite quiet a lot of walk on rides.
Most of the christmas stuff was running except Belles christmas village a quite few of the huts was not open (this could have been due to the really rainy weather we had). We loved all of the decorations was amazing and santa was great he really took time to talk to the kids.
if you can see the Mickey's bonfire show do see it, it was amazing it was meant to be on on the 8th but due to the weather they cancelled it until the next night.
Hopefully we will be going back next Christmas time:santa:

Thanks a mil everyone for your help. What days do the fireworks run on?

I agree. Definitely watch the fireworks / bonfire if you can.

Our first visit was early November. We got to watch the fireworks on our second night, then the next day, it was Christmas season. The park had magically changed overnight!!!

Chloe was the first child to visit Santa that year, and she still talks about it now, some five years later!!!

I don't think it's been confirmed yet. This year it was supposed to be 3th,5th & the 8th. I believe the show on the 8th was postponed until the 9th due to poor weather.

According to this website (click) they'll be on the 2nd, 4th & 7th next year.

That would tally with the same days as this year so it's quite likely those dates are correct.

Hi,
Yeah it was meant the 8th but it was postponed to the 9th due to weather apparently it was not the rain that postponed it, it was the wind. but well worth the wait, i thought the pre show was it then all of a sudden loads of fireworks started exploding all over the place with a light show, it was amazing.

oh quite interested in going for the 7th so get the bonfire and to see the christmas decorations ................ if you go that early are all the xmas decoarations up?

Hi,
we went 7th- 12th Nov and it was all decorated, Santa was there, the snow fell on mainstreet and santa was in the parade. Mickey's wonderland show did not start until the 10th and then was not shown again until the 12th if i remember correctly, this is well worth watching. Also the tree and castle lighting ceremony was on too every night. ooooo i so want to go back and see it all again we loved it all.:santa:
