Umm...ok...is it too early to plan Christmas 2009? I thought I would never ever be able to spend my birthday, which happens to be on Christmas day, in a Disney park. For sure it wouldn't happen in Florida. And then I got to scheming...and thought...well, there's always Anaheim which, to me, is less stressful than Orlando. And I knew I could convince my parents and brother to go to Anaheim for Christmas because they've always wanted to see the Christmas Pageant at the Crystal Cathedral.
They're all up for this rather foolhardy plan of mine so my next question is... how early do I start planning for this? I usually try to find a timeshare but either it's too early or there are none available for that time period. Staying onsite, I think, will cost too much and will be a deal breaker with the family. My mom is hoping for a place where we can make our own breakfast and have a fridge and stuff like that.
I thought of renting a vacation home in Anaheim or in Garden Grove ... anybody have any experience in this?
Maybe I'm nuts to try this but... it would be awesome to actually be in the park on Christmas Day.
