Christmas 2008 Cruise

I have my request in for the Christmas 2008 Cruise.

Im hoping it will be a 10 or 11 day trip!


I have a dummy booking in the system now that I set up on our Feb Eastern. I just hope I get the cabin I want, I am assuming that the request in 2 years in advance should make that possible.

Lets see how many others get in on this cruise!

I would love to get on this one, I think Christmas on the ship would be wonderful! We will be there 3/07 and I'd love to book a Christmas cruise and get a suite (we have deck 8 Cat 4 for this upcoming trip) I've only ever been on 1 other cruise and it was in the same type room so I'd love to get a bigger one. How early do you usually book to get the cabin # you stated??

I am hoping for this one too, though I haven't yet tried to get it. We are sailing this holiday season and I am going to try to book Christmas 2008 while we are on board, in order to save the 10%. I am a bit less picky about cabin, though. As long as it has a verandah, I'm fine!

I must be out of my mind, but I plan on booking this cruise as soon as the date opens up. My family and I were on the 2005 Christmas Magic with a bunch of my new best friends I met here on the Dis, and we had an unbeliveably fantastic time. I was thinking about the NYEve cruise, but Christmas at sea was so beautiful, I want to do it again.

In 2 weeks, 12 family members and I are doing a Grand Gathering at WDW, and as soon as I come back, I start my serious cruise planning! I've already started my Word Document for this cruise, loaded with info.

I want to get a cat. 3, but I think I should have waitlisted myself for that. There will be 5 in my immediate family, and I'm trying to get another Grand Gathering going for the cruise. We shall see!

When you say " you should have waitlisted yourself" what does that mean and where does one go to "waitlist"??? I would love to get a cat 3.

Well, we are now officially booked on this cruise! We are so excited to be spending Christmas on the Disney Cruise. Those of us who are going are DW, DH, DS (will be 10 by cruise) & DS (will be 6 by cruise). We are going with friends as well and they are DW, DH, DS (11), DD (8). We booked on 1/31 to get lowest prices and the rooms we wanted (and the DU shipboard credit helped too!) Can't wait to see who else is coming along!

I checked on our Feb 1 Wonder cruise and found that I did get my favorite cat 3 cabin for the Dec 20, 2008 cruise with an alternate Western itinerary.
