I would like to include some Disney Vacation items for my kids this year but here is my delima...We are not going to WDW until Dec 2, 2007. I figured WAY too early for trip related items as I am sure they will either get lost or destroyed. But this is the last Christmas before we go. (I am sure I will bombard you with gift ideas for next year after we return). I was thinking that Santa could leave Disney Dollars with a note to the girls telling them that he will tell the Easter Bunny & Tooth Fairy to leave DD as well. I am wondering if that is good enough. I will be getting the kids more Disney trip items for their birthdays but I wanted to start early.
Any suggestions???

Maybe make a cute Disney calendar for each of them to count down until your trip. :)

I think it is too early for kids.... their idea of a year is a lifetime.... jmo...

I like this idea..thanks

What about getting them Disney Piggy banks to save for some spending money for the trip?

That is also a cute idea. My kids already know we are going. I do not have endless money to give them for things like souvies. Although we are saving for the trip I do not want to be on a huge budget while we are there. Although I do not want my kids buying junk I would like them to get things that they will use like jackets. If I can kill 2 birds with one stone (like give DD for Christmas, that would be great). My kids are getting gift cards for their birthdays next year but I want Santa to give DD (I think this might be my DD9 last year of Santa :()

I think a year early is too early for even Disney dollars. Maybe a piggy bank would be cute. Why not just wait until their birthday if it's closer? I always let DD earn Disney dollars for extra jobs she does. But she doesn't care much about it until we are a few months away.

Since they believe in Santa etc. waiting for almost a year will be pure torture for them and thus for you. I would just cut back on what they get this year and then buy DD etc. that you put away for them to get later on. Maybe at Thanksgiving 2007 Santa could make an early stop to drop off those Disney Dollars and then tell the kids they are going.

ETA: I see they already know about the trip. I guess then let Santa bring DDs that you put away for later.

Last year Kohl's had Mickey banks. Maybe they'll have something like that again. I got a leftover one for DD in February for $3!
