Christmans time at DLR?

When do they take down all of the Christmas decorations and stop having the Christmas parade? We are trying to determine when to go and what A/P to purchase. I was thinking of going 1/2-1/5 as this is not blocked out on the Signature Pass but if there will be no Christmas stuff then I might have to bite the bullet and purchase the Signature Plus and go during Xmas week instead of right after New Years.

My guess is that the Holidays will still be happening during that time period. It looks like the parade and fireworks ended on Sun, Jan 8 in 2017 and on Jan 6 in 2016 and 2015. DCA has been having a Three Kings Day celebration for the last several years and it's on Jan 6 in 2018, so my guess is that they'll probably have the holiday offerings through then. Now, of course, things can change, so there really won't be any way to know for sure until they announce the dates for the Holiday season in DLR.

Thanks Figment! I appreciate your input. I am trying to plan out all of my DL trips this year and book my hotels ahead of time before purchasing my AP. I think I will go ahead with the Signature A/P and if all else fails I can always upgrade.

With a new AP, not a renewal, you don't really lose anything by upgrading from Signature to Signature Plus. They don't take away any renewal discount, and before the Christmas blockout, you haven't missed any potential days in the park and the discounts are the same.

I do understand that these two AP's are similar except for the block out dates that the Signature has. The only reason I would want the Signature Plus is to be able to see DL at Christmas time and see the holiday parade. I am not able to go any time prior to the holiday weeks besides the dates I mentioned above so, it looks like this may work out unless DL changes what they have done in the past. Keeping my fingers crossed.
