Cheeringmom, I'm praying for your daughter. I had mono when I was a teenager and it took months for me to fully recover. It's not fun, I hope your daughter recovers quickly!

BTW, these are great songs you've posted but I would have been more inclined to think you would prefer "Strolling" on that water. Also, your son truly has impeccable taste, 4HIM and Petra! Hi Michelle!
my SIL is feeling MUCH better, and Levi is growing stronger too. He has been moved from the warming bed into an incubator, and has had the CPAP removed and replaced with just oxygen when he breathes, it is not breathing for him now. YAY! My SIL should be released tomorrow, but we aren't sure about the baby yet. However, this will allow my SIL to be with him, as they have been in different hospitals since he was born. I was so blessed to have been able to minister to my SIL (she is like my sister, they have been together for 25 years. Levi's big sister is 21!) during all of this, she has really been able to see God's hand at work. AMEN!

I got this great little daily calendar for Christmas that has a different Psalm and thought for the day on it. I thought I would share them with you each day.

We'll backtrack and do yesterday's as well. I keep it on my desk at work so I couldn't post it yesterday since I was at home.

Hey Clare! I watched most of the show last night, it was great! They showed portions of each artist's show and also did interviews with them. It's been a long time since I've been to NOJ, I think I am going to go again this year if they have a good lineup. The last few times I went to something like this I did Rock The Universe over at Universal. I think it's time to give NOJ another shot, watching it last night made me remember how much I enjoyed it.

Princess Michelle -- did you do Rock the Universe this past year? It was the first time I did RTU instead of NOJ. I mainly did it because I wanted to watch some Ghostbuster shows at Universal beforehand...lol

I don't know which place I like better...I guess I like them both the same. The thing I didn't like about Disney's NOJ was that the stages were so far apart. But what I didn't like about RTU was each artist had only one show. A very LONG show, but only one. Bad if you have conflict issues. The thing I wish is that NOJ and RTU were on different weekends. Why can't one be during September, and the other, 6 months later. I'd go to both that way!

I'm glad the show was good. Wish I had recorded it so I could see it. I missed out on seeing Switchfoot and Freddie Colloca...bummer

No, it's been a couple of years since I've been to either. I think I liked RTU better for a lot of different reasons. They tended to have better lineups the last few years. I remember the first year that I went they had Chris Rice, Watermark, The Kry, Burlap To Cashmere and The Waiting. There were other artists/groups there too but it was so nice to be able to see groups that I loved that were not really "big names". This was in 1998 I think and Chris Rice and Watermark were relatively new artists at that time. The others had been around for awhile but didn't get a whole lot of radio time, not around here anyway. You rarely, if ever see newer or lesser known artists at NOJ unless they are young. Not putting down young artists, just saying that the music of Rachel Lampa, Plus One, etc. is not really my favorite. You can also get into Universal with your RTU ticket early and enjoy some of the park before the concerts start. At NOJ you can't do that. NOJ seems to be getting shorter each year too. The first one I went to back in 1991 was 5 hours long, now it's what, three? So these are just a few reasons why I like RTU better. Although, my first trip to wdw ever was for NOJ so it's special for that reason alone.

It's changed a bit since then. With RTU you can get in at 4:00PM I think, but with NOJ, they made it where you can come in at 4:00PM also.
Aww you're not a fan of Rachael Lampa and Plus One? They used to be two of my favorite artists, but I know what you mean. The lineups at Disney have been getting a bit better, IMO. All are really well known though. I really liked RTU's lineup this year too, so it was tough to decide (except for the deciding factor: GBs! woop!).

NOJ I think ends at 1AM. I think it's about the same for RTU. So, they're both competing, obviously, since it's the same weekend.

Hey, that only means good news for us...they'll make sure to only improve.

Clare, that is great to hear that NOJ is stepping things up a notch to be competitive with RTU. I'm with you though, I wish they were at different times of the year so that we wouldn't have to choose. I guess it's always an option to do one night of one and one night of the other.

I'm going to have to check out the GB's next time I go to Universal, I've only seen them driving by on their car.
