Chrismas Decorations in the Parks

Question: When do they usually begin the transformation to Christmas for decorations in the parks? I'm looking to go in mid October, but would like to see the decorations if they are up. Thanks!

Throughout the month of October you will see Halloween decorations (they will actually go up mid-August). Christmas decorations will go up in the MK as soon as the Halloween decorations come down. They will be up in the other parks by the middle of November. The decorations in the hotels are generally up in the week before Thanksgiving.

Sorry, but you won't see any Christmas decorations in October.

MK will have most of theirs done on Nov 2. HS will be right behind since they usually start their Christmas nighttime stuff that week. EP won't start until Food & Wine is over closer to mid Nov. AK...who knows? The resorts will start in the beginning of Nov, but they are on a rotation so no way of knowing who will get theirs first. By Thanksgiving, EVERYTHING is Christmas!
