Chris and Laura's at Mad Hatter reception

We just returned from our Mad Hatter reception. We had alot of fun!

There were about 30 people there.
Chris's aunt and uncle and 3 married cousins, Tina and Shaniqua from Austin, my friend Val. My family and two of my brothers friends.

We had:
Chicken, Ribs, hamburgars, hot dogs, baked beans, corn, chips, 3 kinds of potato salad.

The tables all decorated.

Favors were votive holders with candy flowers, bubbles, favor bags with colored M&M's.

I have to say this was a blast. I'm alittle sad it is all over.

Hey Laura!! Everything turned out SO CUTE! The cake was adorable. She did as well as Disney does with their own Mad Hatter Cake I love the tea cup cupcakes! What a cute idea. Laura, I"m catching up on your planning journal and this - I have both screen open! With you, Jen and Karen, I am never going to sleep - but then again, this is what happens to teachers over the summer - it's like letting a dog out of their cage!

I just had to post to compliment your Aunt's cake. Please tell her what a fabulous job she did and that she has tons of fans! She could so patent her design. The fact that she added little teacups is just amazing!!

I went to a bridal shower that was a "tea" when I was about 10, so I have always fantasized about one myself. I LOVE yours! Beautiful!

I'm jealous that even after your magical wedding and reception at Disney, the fun still wasn't over and you had an at-home reception!
