I have 2 options for Disneyland this year, and i'm having a very hard time choosing between them, thought maybe you all could help.

Option 1- June 4th-6th. This would be a birthday trip for me. I've never been in the summer before. Carsland would not be open. More complete entertainment schedule. Probably hotter weather. Less time to plan and save. Could make use of the Military $99 three day hoppers.

Option 2- Early/mid November, probably the week after Christmas stuff starts. I've been for their holiday season before and loved it. More time to plan and save. No military tickets, so would cost more. Cooler weather, probably less crowded. Carsland would be open.

Other Factors- DB has never been, and I want his first trip to be as good as possible. I've wanted to go for my bday for a long time, however I don't do well in heat and get a little anxious in large crowds. We're on a super tight budget. There's always a chance there would be a different military deal in November. This will most likely be my final trip to DL. I won't die if I don't see Carsland, but I do really want to see BVS as I went to DL once before they started construction and twice during, so it would be nice to see how it turned out.

What would you do?

If you have only been to DLR twice, once during the Holidays and once Halloween, I would go in June and see it in its natural state. In June the hours may be long and you can go in the morning and evening to avoid afternoon heat, if that's a problem, it may only be warm.

If you have seen that before I would wait until November, probably middle or after for the Holidays.

Even though you have been there during the holiday season already, I'd recommend November. In June there will probably still be construction walls up at DCA, and in November they should be down.

Even though the tix may be more, you'll have more time to save. Since this is your DB's first time, I'd want him to see DL without all that construction.

Regardless of what choice you make, you'll have a wonderful time. If you go in June he won't know what he's missing since he doesn't have anything to compare it against. :)
