I will be at WDW for my honeymoon and was wondering where we could have a nice breakfast. I usually eat breakfast at Tony's but I was disappointed to learn that they aren't serving breakfast anymore. Since this is my honeymoon, I don't want to do more than one character breakfast. Also, to kick off our honeymoon I want to take my DH to dinner. I was thinking of San Angel Inn or Bongos (My DH LOVES Mexican and Cuban). Which one should I choose?????

BTW this is my DH first trip to WDW and I really want to show him a good time...:)

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!! DH and I honeymooned at WDW too, we had a great time, you will both love it!!

Now, for the question--I have never eaten at Bongos before, but I have eaten at San Angel Inn numerous times, it is the only restaurant we have eaten at every time we go to WDW. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so romantic, the setting is at dusk with a volcano smoldering in the background. The restaurant is dimly lit, and every table has a latern on it--perfect for setting the mood. ;) The food is very good there too, I crave it when I'm at home!! :D It's not too spicey, at least what I order isn't, I usually get the Plato Mexicano, it's a beef taco, chicken enchilada, and a quesadilla. The desserts are out of this world, we normally get the chocolate chimichonga--a deep fried banana topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate and peanut butter sauce. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!!

Other romantic restaurants--at least we think so are Le Cellier in Canada, 'Ohana's at the Polynesian, and California Grill at the Contemporary. Hope all this helps!! Good luck planning your wedding and honeymoon.

San angel inn is a must! Very romantic-the atmosphere is incredible. You will really think you're in Mexico, and the foods very good too!

San angel Inn sounds great, we love it. How about Kona Cafe at Poly for breakfast, great food, fair price and a quick monorail ride to or from the MK

Congrats!
We went to Poly second floor in the past for buffet breakfast.
The reason is the morning view of MK and the lagoon as you dine is a marvelous view.
Sorry I can't remember the name of the eatery.
I hope one of Disboard MEMs can help.
Ask for a window seat when you res. and like I tell everyone, inform the cast member at res that you are on HONEYMOON!

Take in WDW as an adult because your children will show you WDW as a child later on.
