We leave for WDW in a little over three months, and I am still working on dining plans. Any advice??

Garden Grill
Mama Melrose
Tony's Town Square
Coral Reef
Le Cellier
Concourse Steakhouse
Crystal Palace
Whispering Canyon Cafe

We are debating on doing 4 to 5 difference places, and still havn't narrowed it down more than that! Any help???

Out of your choices listed, we've been to the Garden Grill, Mama Melrose, Le Cellier, Crystal Palace and Whispering Canyon. We've enjoyed all of them a lot and will return to them on future trips. We really love the character interaction, atmosphere and food at the GG. The CP has a wonderful buffet and fun birthday parade led by Pooh. We really liked Mama Melrose's food, especially compared to Hollywood and Vine. We enjoyed Whispering Canyon for the antics, food and loved visiting the Wilderness Lodge. We enjoyed Le Cellier, but I didn't think it was as great as my expectations based on reviews I've read on this board. We liked our food, but it didn't floor us in taste and the portions we received were rather tiny compared to normal portions we generally receive in restaurants around here.

I have been to Tony's, Crystal Palace, and Whispering Canyon. If you are in the mood for some Italian, definately choose Tony's b/c it has great food!! If you want more a buffet, go to the Crystal Palace. An added bonus of going there is that you get to see characters from Winnie the Pooh - Winnie, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, and when we went Rabbit was there (although he looked a little out-dated). The Whispering Canyon is good if you are a meat eater b/c that is thier main speciality...but since I am a vegetarian, I would say pass on it. But my family did enjoy it - and I did enjoy the entertainment!!!

Out of your choices we have only been to three: CP, Le Cellier and Whispering Canyon. We absolutely loved Le Cellier and Whispering Canyon. I don't like a lot of glazes or anything on my steak and had requested it without the bbq sauce on it and it was great, nice piece of meat and cooked to my liking. Whispering Canyon is very loud with fun antics and the absolutely best bottomless milk shakes! Crystal Palace was just ok, while it was nicely located, beautiful and had the Pooh characters, the food just wasn't all that great. It was ok and nothing was horrible, but we feel our dining credits would best be used elsewhere.

I think the key is to plan your basic itinerary first and then add the restaurants to make it run smoothly - so you don't have to travel too far and interrupt your day/enjoyment.

A lot of the reviews I've been readings say things like 'we didn't have time to do X because we had to go back and get ready to go to Y'

Garden Grill -- DS loved it for lunch. it's his fav.
Mama Melrose--HAven't tried it

Tony's Town Square--hear dit is like eating spaghetti o's or chef boy r d. If you are from the NorthEast and are used to good Italian food, the general consenus is that it's gross. If you are from another region you may like it.

Coral Reef -- We really like the food here. Atmosphere is great. A little pricier than garden grille
Le Cellier -- HANDS DOWNS OUR FAVORITE!! NEver miss it!
Concourse Steakhouse--HAven't tried it
Crystal Palace--Great Lunch place. Not too bad for a buffet (w're not big fans of buffets)
Whispering Canyon Cafe--Haven't tried it

If you can fit in 1900 PF for breakfast, we highly recommend it.
