We always like to try at least one new restaurant when we visit WDW. We have discussed the 50' Prime Time Cafe at Disney Studios and the Coral Reef at EPCOT. We would appreciate any feedback on these restaurants. Thank You!

Have tried both of these places. May I suggest a restaurant either in Epcot's WS, or a WDW resort?:earsboy:

It depends a lot on what you want out of your dining experience. We really look for ambience, so both these restaurants were very enjoyable for us. Depending a lot on the server, there can be a lot of interaction at Prime Time, so don't go if you want to just be left alone. Otherwise, the food is good, it's a very retro kitchen atmosphere, very fun and very "Disney" unique.

Coral Reef's food was good, but I really like the aquarium atmosphere. It's like a 5 million gallon tank or something, and very soothing, lots of blues and greens, and dark, so it's a nice place to take a break and get out of the heat. Our CM told us that they their dessert has been voted "Best in WDW" for a couple of years now (can't confirm, but that's what she said). Either way, it WAS very good, called the "chocolate wave". I loved it, and I'm not even a chocolate person.

If you're going for something new, you should try one of these at least once, especially if you're already in the parks. But the resorts also have great restaurants, you almost can't go wrong!

I have not eaten at Prime Time, but have been to Coral Reef and would definitely suggest it. We ate there last year and got a seat right by the fish tank. It was nice to watch all the different fish and sharks float by while we were eating dinner. And the food was very good.

My DD and I both LOVE chocolate so I bet you know what we would get for dessert!:bounce:

We never ate at 50's Prime time, but Coral Reef was EXCELLENT. The dessert was delicious and I love the atmosphere.

In my opinion they are different kinds of restaurants. 50's Prime time is an interactive, have a good time type and the Coral Reef is more elegant.

50's seems more family/friends kind of meal where Coral Reef is more relaxing/romantic. Don't get me wrong, my kids loved the aquarium, but the food was a little too complicated for them.

My own unsure feelings about 50's Prime Time Cafe is whether or not they seem too pushy. I do not want to feel as though I am being harassed although the atmosphere seems great.
