Choice Hotels Near Universal?

What hotels from the Choice Hotel chain (Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion etc.) would you recommend to be near Universal Studios? Thanks!

The best thing is to go on a site like Trip Advisor and do the research yourself. You could probably get 100 different answers from 100 posters. I usually go to Trip Advisor and do a review of hotels in the area I'm looking for. You kinda have to way the good reviews against the bad. I have been looking myself lately, and the Clarion Hotel near Universal and the Quality Inn on International Drive seem to get decent reviews for a budget hotel/motel. And both have great rates for November at least.

I agree too but you also have to remeber that with some of these hotels that that have real low rates is like a shot in the dark.
some are going to be good while others will be awful

From what I have researched Clarion Universal is great! We are going to stay there Sept 20 - 27. I will let you know when we get back Expedia had some GREAT rates too with a 75 dollar gas card too
